1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the OpenMysteria Employee Portal ("the Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. This Portal is exclusively for authorized OpenMysteria employees. If you are not an authorized employee or do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this system.

2. Employee-Only Access and Authorization

RESTRICTED ACCESS: This Portal is designed exclusively for OpenMysteria employees and authorized personnel. Access is strictly limited to:

  • Current Employees: Active OpenMysteria staff members with valid employee credentials
  • Authorized Contractors: Third-party personnel with explicit written authorization
  • IT Security Teams: Personnel conducting authorized security assessments
  • Training Participants: Employees participating in security awareness training

UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS PROHIBITED: Any access by non-employees, former employees, or unauthorized individuals is strictly forbidden and may result in disciplinary action and legal prosecution.

3. Educational Purpose and Internal Training

This Portal serves as an internal training platform for:

  • Employee Security Training: Educational demonstrations of security vulnerabilities for staff awareness
  • Internal Research: Understanding attack vectors relevant to our business operations

4. Employee Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Employee Activities

  • Participating in authorized company security training programs

  • Educational exploration of security concepts as part of job duties

4.2 Prohibited Employee Activities

  • Unauthorized Sharing: Sharing access credentials with non-employees or unauthorized personnel
  • External Access: Accessing the Portal from non-company networks without VPN
  • Real Data Usage: Entering actual company, customer, or personal sensitive information
  • System Disruption: Overloading servers or disrupting services for other employees
  • Credential Sharing: Sharing login credentials with colleagues or external parties
  • Unauthorized Testing: Conducting security tests without explicit IT department approval
  • Data Exfiltration: Attempting to extract or download company training materials without authorization

5. Employee Account Responsibilities

As an OpenMysteria employee, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your employee credentials and portal access
  • All activities that occur under your employee account
  • Immediately notifying IT Security of any unauthorized use or security incidents
  • Using strong, unique passwords in accordance with company password policy
  • Logging out when training sessions are complete
  • Ensuring Portal access is only from authorized company devices or VPN connections
  • Complying with all OpenMysteria IT security policies and procedures

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Portal and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by OpenMysteria and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

  • Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
  • Educational use of discovered vulnerabilities is permitted for training purposes
  • Screenshots and documentation may be used for educational presentations

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PORTAL IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. OPENMYSTERIA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We make no warranty that:

  • The Portal will meet your requirements
  • The Portal will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Any errors in the Portal will be corrected (as vulnerabilities are intentional)

7. Limitation of Liability

OpenMysteria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Portal.

8. Security and Risk Acknowledgment

By using this Portal, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Vulnerabilities Exist: The system contains intentional security flaws
  • Data Security: No guarantee of data protection or privacy
  • Educational Purpose: Not suitable for production use or real data
  • Risk Assumption: You use the Portal at your own risk
  • Learning Environment: Designed for security education and training

9. Vulnerability Disclosure

While this system contains intentional vulnerabilities, we encourage responsible disclosure of any unintended security issues:

  • Report vulnerabilities through our vulnerability reporting form
  • Allow reasonable time for assessment and response
  • Do not publicly disclose issues until they have been addressed
  • Provide clear reproduction steps and impact assessment

11. Employee Conduct and Disciplinary Action

All employees using this Portal must:

  • Comply with all applicable OpenMysteria policies and procedures
  • Respect other employees and maintain professional conduct during training
  • Use the Portal only for authorized educational and training purposes
  • Report any misuse or policy violations to management or IT Security
  • Maintain confidentiality of any internal training materials and methodologies
  • Follow all company guidelines regarding information security and data protection

Disciplinary Action: Violation of these terms may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment, and may also result in civil and criminal liability.

12. Termination and Access Revocation

OpenMysteria reserves the right to immediately terminate or suspend employee access to the Portal for:

  • Violation of these Terms of Use or company policies
  • Termination of employment or change in job responsibilities
  • Security incidents or policy violations
  • Completion of training programs or project assignments
  • Any conduct deemed harmful to company operations or other employees

Upon termination of employment, all access to this Portal will be immediately revoked.

12. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Portal is also governed by our Privacy Statement. Please review our privacy practices to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information in this educational environment.

13. Modifications to Terms
